Philosophy of Christian Education We know God and Christ only through the Bible. This knowledge forms a foundation for the rest of life, which must be built upon knowing Christ. Bible is a required subject at New Life Academy in every grade. From its pages, we can gain a clear direction for everyday living as it reveals to mankind the only way to heaven and the only hope for eternity. A God-Centered Curriculum, The Bible enhances and becomes the foundation for the study of all other subjects, among them, English, history, reading, mathematics and science, etc. A Christian Staff, all New Life Academy teachers are qualified educators and are certified or in the process of acquiring certification by the reputed Christian curriculum in the United States and /or the Association of Christian School International (ACSI). Every staff member at New Life Academy has publicly professed his/her faith and trust in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. Each staff member views his/her work at New Life as a ministry, not just a job. |
Community Service Requirement
“Whatever you do, work with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for men”~ Colossians 3:23 ~
It is with this in mind, that New Life has complemented our high school curriculum to include an elective community service component so that students may fulfill that which we are called to do through Christ Jesus ~ serve others ~ “I have come not to be served, but to serve…” Mark 10:45. All high school students are required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of service over their four years of high school. Each student’s goal should be a minimum of 10 hours each school year. |
